Paragon Hard Disk Manager 5.5
Hard Disk Manager affords everything you may need for managing hard disks
Review by Anthony Dhanendran: Your computer's hard disk can be divided into partitions to make it easier to manage. HD Manager allows you to change and adjust these partitions to suit your purposes. Alternatively, if you have only one partition, you can use HD Manager to split it into two or more. Why would you want to do this? Suppose you wanted to give Linux a try without upsetting your existing system, or wanted to create a separate space to store music or video clips. Normally you would have to wipe the whole disk and start again from scratch, but HD Manager allows you to rearrange things while leaving everything else as it is. It has a simple enough menu system: you select the options you want, and tell it to apply the changes. Rebooting may be needed, in which ... (4/5 - 14-Mar-2005)

Hard Drive Mechanic 2006
Hard Drive Mechanic - Data Recovery, Hard Drive Repair and Diagnostics software
Review by Tom Betress: I purchased Hard Drive Mechanic. I am a network engineer, teach in the computer science division at a college and have my own consulting business. I have come across many problems that appear to have no explanation for cause and sometimes no FIX either. I was working on a machine for a company that had a "hard drive crash". All their accounting information was on there with no backup. Couldn't access the drive no matter what utilities I tried. thought it was a gonner for sure. I tried Norton Util, MicroScope, etc., and no luck. At my local computer store Ind saw they had Hard Drive Mechanic, figured I had nothing to loose and my customer obviously couldn't be in any worst condition. I purchased it, I booted from the floppy, and amazingly... (5/5 - 7-Feb-2006)

Acronis True Image Home 11
Save your data with the most comprehensive backup and restore tool in the market
Review by Voodoo: All the main tasks the program can undertake are Wizard-driven, taking you step-by-step through the process in a clear and logical way. You can restore complete images or selected files, making the program particularly versatile should you corrupt or inadvertently delete important information. This piece of hard drive imaging software is an attractive proposition. (5/5 - 28-Mar-2005)
Review by Rob Duncan: Acronis True Image is fast, and very powerful. It's easily the best I have used till date and it makes disk imaging look much simpler and safe. The Windows support and ability to multitask while imaging is a great boon. Considering the customization and easy of use combined, it's a most sensible option for all those who can do without the scheduling feature. The software is a rock solid performer with maximum stability. There are options for password protection where one can set a password, which provides a secure Imaging experience. The compression level can also be set as per choice, so if one has a monster drive/partition to back up, the compression level can be set to high and vice versa. (5/5 - 19-Mar-2005)
