BackUp32 intended for data archiving tasks, using compression algorithm compatible with ZIP and other popular archivers, with support for external compression plug-in modules. Supports archives deletion by date of archive and by number of archives in specific directory.
Other features include: archives naming by current date, sending of messages across the network before and after archiving, mirroring directories over the network, different levels of logging, support for plugin modules to extend functionality, support for different configurations and configuration groups, configurations execution once in N days, OS commands execution before and after archiving, support for command line execution, archiving to removable media, archives password protection, .BAK files creation, support for commentaries and descriptions, lists of 'included', 'excluded' and 'excluded from compression' files, fast compression speed, nice interface and many options that affect the resulting archive.
