Unlike other general charting controls which include financial charting capability as an auxiliary feature, Candlechart .NET is written entirely with financial charting in mind. This means there is no need for extensive hacking and tweaking to suit your financial applications.
Choose from a variety of chart types such as candlestick charts, OHLC bar charts, bar charts and line charts. What's more, you can easily customize the look of these chart types by changing the color, line style, thickness and so on. You can also set different colors to bars that close up or close down.
Get started quickly by choosing from our set of built-in themes or if you wish to customize your own look and feel, simply change the necessary properties from our templates.
Populate your chart with any number of subcharts. The subcharts can contain lines, bars, candlesticks, or technical indicators.
Drag and drop subcharts to position them, or resize the subcharts, or scroll using the mouse wheel, or zoom into or out of the chart. All these interactivity are already built into the chart and you can use them out of the box.
Want to customize how your chart responds to user interaction? Simply hook up to the event handlers to respond to any of the keyboard or mouse events whether is it a scroll, a click or a keypress.
Candlechart .NET contains many of the standard technical indicators such as Bollinger Bands, MACD, Stochastics and many more. Alternatively, you can build your own indicators by using the built-in formula and math classes.
